Students assume the persona of a real or imagined classroom pet and write a blog describing activities in the classroom. Students will improve descriptive writing skills while talking about the classroom events from the viewpoint of the classroom pet. If you don't have a pet, put a picture of one up so the students can visualize what the pet sees during the day.
