TEACCH 
Treatment and Education of Autistic and Related Communication Handicapped Children - This is a less intensive program in the preschool years. The classroom is very structured. There are defined areas for each task. It relies heavily on visual learning which is strength for many autistic and PDD students. There is a use of pictures and or words to help them move smoothly between activities and stations.
